Two single grain whiskies from the same legendary Glasgow distillery, separated by nine years of maturation. Port Dundas closed in 2010 after almost two centuries of whisky production, meaning every remaining cask now represents a finite piece of Scotch whisky history. This duo lets you taste the distillery at two very different stages: the 16-year-old showing a fresher, sweeter and more lively side, while the 25-year-old brings greater depth, maturity and polished oak. The simplest way to explore how age transforms the character of one historic distillery.

Port Dundas Distillery
Origin Story

Port Dundas Distillery

Founded in Glasgow in 1811 beside the Forth & Clyde Canal, Port Dundas grew into one of Scotland’s most important grain distilleries and by the 1880s was the country’s largest. Using Coffey and pot stills, it produced whisky from corn, barley and rye, while the vast site also absorbed neighbouring Cowlairs and Dundashill. Despite major fires in 1903 and 1916, it repeatedly rebuilt and modernised. Production finally ended in 2011 when Diageo shifted grain whisky production to Cameronbridge, and the landmark site was demolished.

Chosen for character, not consistency
1 · Sourcing

Chosen for character, not consistency

We buy casks directly from distillery stock and taste before we commit - never to recreate a standard house style.

2 · Cask selection

A single cask, never blended

Every release comes from one individually selected cask. No other whisky is blended in to standardise the flavour.
