Distilled in 2000 at the now-closed Dumbarton Distillery, this 25-year-old Single Grain Scotch Whisky matured in a hogshead cask. Once one of Scotland’s largest grain distilleries, Dumbarton closed in 2002, making well-aged single cask releases increasingly rare. This whisky shows the classic Dumbarton style, with an elegant, sweet and softly fruity character, a creamy texture and the depth that comes from long maturation. Bottled at 50.2% ABV in a 500ml format.

Why choose an independent bottling?
Chosen for character, not consistency
We buy casks directly from distillery stock and taste before we commit - never to recreate a standard house style.
A single cask, never blended
Every release comes from one individually selected cask. No other whisky is blended in to standardise the flavour.
Bottled where it tastes its best
We bring each cask to the ABV where we believe its flavour and character show at their best - with no colouring or chill filtration.
Limited, and never repeated
Once a cask is gone, that release is gone. No recreations, no repeats.
Frequently asked questions
The bottles are authentic as in genuine to the cask.
No, but all our bottle do come in specialist boxes and are securely shipped by DHL.
We select individual casks boasting with character from Scotland’s distilleries and bottle them one at a time - never blended into uniformity, never rushed, never repeated.
