Single Grain Scotch Whisky – Bourbon Barrel – 50.2% - 500ML
This single grain whisky was distilled in 2000 at the now closed Dumbarton Distillery, once one of Scotland’s largest grain whisky distilleries. Founded in 1938 and closed in 2002, Dumbarton was owned by Hiram Walker and primarily produced grain whisky for blends such as Ballantine’s. Today, Dumbarton whiskies are increasingly rare, especially well-aged single casks, making them sought after by collectors and grain whisky enthusiasts.
Distilled just two years before the distillery closed, this whisky matured for 25 years in a hogshead, allowing slow and balanced maturation while preserving the classic Dumbarton character — elegant, sweet and softly fruity with a creamy texture typical of long-aged grain whisky.
