Single Grain Scotch Whisky – Single Hogshead Cask - 50.4%Alc.Vol. - 500ML
Distilled in 2009 at the closed Port Dundas Distillery, this single grain whisky comes from one of Glasgow’s historic distilling sites. Founded in 1811, Port Dundas became one of Scotland’s largest grain distilleries and played a major role in supplying grain whisky for blends for nearly two centuries before closing in 2010. Today, Port Dundas whiskies are increasingly appreciated for their elegant, sweet and approachable character.
Matured for 16 years in a hogshead, this whisky shows a classic mature grain profile, balancing sweetness, soft oak and creamy texture while still keeping a lively and fresh character.
